I was asked to draw a cross between Red Hood and Night Owl. Here’s what I came up with:

I actually had a really hard time developing the action post for this… I kept sketching out different pose ideas and hating each one until I came upon this one, and it sorta worked.

Before I started on the action, I had to get a basic idea of what the costume would look like, since I wanted to incorporate elements from both characters. Here’s what the costume sketch (and some of the images used as reference) looked like:
